Honestly then, you seem to know what the internet is about... Why are
you taking this so seriously when the issue already got resolved. The
package isn't in the AUR anymore and Ion3 (unmodified version), if I'm
correct, is in the official one.

Well you did actually by slapping a legal threat in their lap. And by
continuing to lash that they're doing it wrong. And instead of writing
all these pointless whine mails to TUR-ML, why didn't you just write as
someone else stated "hi, my name is ..., and I have a issue with a
package named". And after you did that you could've pointed out that the
AUR had some flaws, like not saying that its not *user* maintained and
such.
So to wrap up, we're not the ones crying.. I haven't interpreted one
single email on this thread as whining more as annoyed at you for your
constant crying about how we/users are ruining *nix. I my opinion, by
patching software they're not ruining *nix, they're making it better...
correcting flaws that another programmer missed, or didn't think off.
You should be proud of yourself for making a software that someone else
thinks is good enough for him/her to modify for the better.
