I have to agree here. Frankly. the position taken by Mr Valkonen
saddens me. This is not in the spirit of open source. It is in the
spirit of selfishness.
Frankly, I don't think it really matters if we remove ion3 anymore.
Most of the people who use WMs of this nature have moved away from it
and on to better software anyway. It's fairly insignificant anymore
compared to much better alternatives, like dwm and the like.
So here's the real question. We have two options:
a) Keep ion around and deal with threats every so often, which will
cause us a bunch of grief.
b) drop ion3 and point and and all users at better alternatives.
Which would you chose?
