Ah, I've just looked who the maintainer is.
brain0 is an official developer for quite long time already so he's
concentrated on official packages.
Post your patch to http://pastebin.archlinux.org/ (set storage time to
month or forever) and post URL as comment on package's AUR page.
Either brain0 will update it, or this will be done by some other TU.
I'll contact brain0 on IRC about this.
