Remember all ya'll that the TUs are supposed to be independent entities.
What this means is that you have to manage yourselves. I expect most of
your rules will/are similar to the official archlinux ones (such as, what
sorts of things go into staging) but, theoretically, they can be whatever
you want.
Now, why were the TURs started? Can anyone remember? It was originally to
help take some of the load off of the developers with respect to incoming.
Through some mis-direction and lack of time, that goal has sort of been
pushed to the wayside. It seems like I'm pretty much the guy pushing that
change again, but whatever.
What are the TURs goals now? I don't know, that's why I'm asking.
Considering that you're your own entity, you can accept whoever you want,
but to what end? Are you just going to accept any old person who can throw
together a package? What are they going to do? Do you just want to waste
resources and trust people that you don't have to? Or should they actually
have responsibilities and jobs?
I think there should be more discussion related to who should be accepted
and why. Maybe if I started holding sponsors responsible for their
sponsee's mistakes...

If you understand, things are just as they are. If you do not understand,
things are just as they are.
My old gpg key expired, the new one is available from keyservers. I was
stupid enough not to realize this before it was too late, so I am not
able to sign my new key with my old key. If this assurance isn't enough,
please contact me.
