hello,
sometimes i use the docbook editor xmlmind to write a manual for my
friends. Under Windows there is a good tool called eDe. But now i want
do that only in linux. But now here are my problems.

I can produce wonderful html - pages. So i also would like to generate
a pdf file. For that reason i downloaded "xmlto". Now i get the error
that "pdfxmltex" command could not be found. So i installed
"passivetex" (Download and put it in the directory
/usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/latex/passivetex. Also i got the xmltex
-base and copied it in the base directory. After all, i wrote
