[arch] recovering deleted files from JFS partition cos of rc.sysinit - pls help

hi, folks, in an attempt to create a bigger /tmp partition, i
inadvertently decided to mount one of my hd partitions as /tmp (cos it
has more free space), but guess what? i didnt think about the line in
/etc/rc.sysinit which does this...

/bin/rm -rf /tmp/* /tmp/.* &>/dev/null

(I have more to say about this line, but will reserve it for another time)

Does anybody know how to recover deleted files from a jfs partition?
There's got to be a way (and i'm hoping FREE) way to do this, but...
google doesnt really offer much help....
