Hi archers,
I've spent the last couple of days, working on a project i call
ArchLInux Embedded.
Right now tho, the only embedding its doing is embedding onto a
USB drive.
Check the site at http://www.datavibe.net/~essiene/ale
I should warn you tho that I know NEXT TO NOTHING, about
embedded systems, so this project is a learning path for me.
I'd appreciate a couple of guys testing it, and giving me
feedback.
Where am I going with this? I'm going to miniaturize an
ArchLinux like system, completely based on Embedded linux tools,
like uClib, busybox, tinylogin, etc, but I've not done this yet.
Why did I start this? I saw and article on running linux on the
Linksys wrt54g wireless router, and decided to work to put arch
on mine. Right Now, I've put it on a USB drive, and I'll move
from there.
By the way the project is called ALE, and its a set of scripts
that help you 'brew' tiny archlinux releases.
Enuff said. Feedback please.
cheers y'all,
Essien Ita Essien
